100’s of Children each year are placed in care because they have been exposed to drug use or drug manufacture.
Estimates show that more than 3.3 million children witness physical and verbal spousal abuse each year, including a range of behaviors from insults and hitting to fatal assaults with guns and knives. 75% of those families where domestic violence occurred children were also battered.
Children are placed in care for a variety of other reasons, such as divorce or the death of a parent or guardian.
If we don’t restore their hope, they are destined to repeat the failings of their parents, and so the cycle will continue. . . .
Hope's Home will provide foster, and residential care to children in need. We will take the youngest child and care for them through to their teenage years and the transitional living program. Hope's Home even has plans to provide advocacy, after school programs and a charter school. Please keep Hope's Home in your prayers.
Hope's Home is a ministry of the Asheville Family Church.
